OC makes more sense. That'd be a good one. And Mox can go 0-5 which is a fan booking I've been seeing that could be fun.

I'm more intrigued by the semifinals. I think we'll get Protoshita in the semis, but who does Okada face? Mox?

I don't disagree with you. Swerve and Hangman doing anything together is going to be interesting. Like I mentioned, they could just trade the championship with eachother, with Hangman winning it in the end.

I'd just prefer a new person in the title scene with Hangman, but that's just me.

Even if they do that, the AEW roster is not the shallow. You can afford to put other people in that position, even with a number of top guys on the injured list.

Do we really need to revisit world title angles from nearly two years ago?

They were really out of it for the final two matches.

It did go past midnight in Newark tbf.

Heck Joe and Darby traded the TNT title in between Wardlow losing and then regaining the TNT title to/from Joe.

Maybe Joe's just in that spot of being the guy people trade the championship with.

Still, not my favorite style of booking, but that's just me.

I just find it odd that Samoa Joe is the pick to be a placeholder/transitional champion to put someome else over.

Like they could totally trade the belt back to Hangman. Joe and Darby did the same with the TNT title 2 years ago, so it's not out of the realm of possibility. Just strange.

I love Samoa Joe, but I really don't care for him as a world title challenger atp.

I'm happy Ricochet won the national title tonight, but I would've much preferred him or another top heel challenge Hangman.
