I wonder if the glass vivarium style would work better for what you're after? They might not be as heavy as an aquarium

My bearded dragon passed away last year (at the ripe old age of at least 15, he was a legend), and I've been wondering if it would be safe to repurpose it for a hamster.

There are huge, systemic, political reasons for suffering in the world right now. You're not going to fix it by denying yourself happiness, or by dissuading people who care about you from treating you kindly

People love and support those they are in community with. You're not less or more important than anyone else, you deserve that love and support. Let your loved ones love you, imo
