Thanx @mattexx.bsky.social! The Haymarket martyrs should be recalled not just as labor organizers but also anarchists, devoted to revolutionary unionism as the means to overthrow capitalism. Their radical theory was dubbed "The Chicago Idea." Read my book for more on that (& other labor stuff!)

I'm 66 & have lived in the IL 9th CD for 30 years; hosted a coffee for Jan Schakowsky when she first ran for Congress in 1998; & was the ED of the Democratic Party of Evanston from 2008-12. And I'm super enthused about @katmabu.bsky.social 's candidacy. How's that for authentic support?
