frankly, one of my favorite concepts in sonic is the Egg Fleet, coupled with the Final Fortress warship. The size and scope of all of these ships and weapons is the kind of thing I love to see at Eggman's disposal. And the Fortress itself is unfathomably huge in-game. Insane stuff. Bring it back!!
