We don’t need to speculate - there are plenty of trans people in other countries who can’t change their gender marker on their passports. The ones I know choose to avoid likely-hostile countries and hope for the best otherwise

That shouldn’t be an issue - theres been nothing issued about legal name changes and idk how they would implement that without also screwing up ID for every married person who changes their last name
