Stuffs polls are regularly so egregiously leading it's an embarrassment. Their questions almost guaranteed to be leading ones.

Todays question is a classic example. No one is objecting to simplifying a process as far as possible, but many of us have an enormous problem with how they want to do it

So $180pw in 6 years. During a time when house prices doubled ( one of labours biggest fuckups ). Seems low if anything.

Found this chart though

I'd like to introduce you to our next door neighbour. One of a pair of matuku moana, or white faced Heron, nesting in the redwood next door.

In Leeston today there's a magnificent sculpture of a horse on display. The sculptor's name is Gawie Bosman.

It's a magnificent piece of work

The image is zoomed and obscured but the best I can get. In the big old redwood tree next to our deck a pair of matuku, or white faced Heron are nesting.
Their bird song sounds like Nick Cave after a night on the piss but they're still great neighbours

The trees at our front gate are blossoming heavily, and they're currently packed with bees in a feeding frenzy. This make me happy.

Out planting with Te Ara Kākāriki today. For the last 15 years they've been working towards creating a corridor from the mountains to the sea on the plains of Canterbury Waitara. Satisfying work

One of the pleasures of moving earlier this year is discovering what's in the garden as the seasons turn. Can't wait for this particular magnolia to fully bloom

Found some pics. Mature trees bring me joy

He clearly never read the Churchill quote. If only someone had used it in one of his self help books

Oh yes. I will go to my grave grateful I got to witness that aurora.

I do not have the eye for photography but capturing the red washed night sky was a special moment for me
