This is my painting/sculpture of a Tyranid canifex head. Only took me 5 years to finish. If your wondering what took me so long, it was the eye, I never painted his eye for 5 years it remained an empty black hole. But now it is complete. Hurrah

I was the last person at the studio so it fell to me to lock up. I was on my own, and it was dark, cold, and late, struggling to work the lock on the back gate. A man came up outour bin.
Anyway long story short it inspired this piece of art, no he wasn't actually Oscar the grouch.

Look at that cute skull I sculpted. I'm trying my best to channel my inner valbjorn, and make it look half decent. It looks good from a distance at least.

I've been quiet lately, but I did go out the other week to the Widnes model centre.

I've been lamenting Liverpool's lack of model shops, we have none bar GW

This is a lovely, family run shop. there's trains, model kits, RC cars, scenery, tools, paints and supplies, well worth a visit.

Probably the biggest model I've ever decided to make.
