The former six flags in New Orleans has been abandoned since hurricane Katrina in 2005. The marsh is slowly reclaiming the park but it has great lair potential IMHO.

One of our dogs, Lily, died about 6 weeks ago and her pal Addie has been lost ever since. She lays in the yard all day now. Hoping Addie can find some joy in her days. She loves to go on walks so I’m going try to do >1 walk/day to see if that helps.

Went to “Brats y’all bistro” in the Bywater for some beer and not turkey with my son Patrick and son in law Jordan - and a rooster. Pretty dang good!

Made cacio e pepe tonight. Turned out pretty good. Maybe not as good as what we had in Rome, but not bad.

We had a ton of rain today, a real frog strangler but Addie still needed her walk - I mean swim.
