Watched the Chainsaw Man movie in a theater today with my girlfriend. The subtitles were in Spanish, so it was a good test of my Japanese listening ability.
I understood roughly 98% of the dialogue, so I'm pretty happy. If only my speaking ability was as good as my listening -.-

I'm back! I was staying with and traveling with my girlfriend in Europe for a long time, and when I came back home I had no energy to post. I'm still studying though!

村上春樹先生の「海辺のカフカ」を読み終えました！これは私が初めて日本語で読んだ本です。上巻と下巻を加えて1,014ページがありました。
少し嫌な部分やテーマもあったけど、そのほかは好きでした。深い意味のある本だと思います。適当に選んだ本なのに、読んで良かったです！

Learning about passing parameters to/from procedures via the stack in MASM assembly, setting up and taking down stack frames... It's so neat finally learning how higher-level languages actually do this sort of thing from the standpoint of memory.

I'm finding Spanish significantly harder to learn than Japanese or Chinese, which seems odd for a native English speaker.

I've really been enjoying my assembly language class. I tend to find that the closer "to the metal" a computing topic is, the more it interests me.
My initial college major I chose way back when I was 18 was electrical/computer engineering, so I guess it makes sense.

The more I use Python the less I like it.
What do you mean there isn't an official way to have private class attributes? What do you mean code flow is determined by indentation and not brackets/curly brackets? What do you mean the logical operators are the full words "and", "or", and "not"?

One of my courses is taught in Python, which I have no experience with. The syntax is soo weird... it'll take some getting used to.
