I taught school in a red state during Covid. Even the hybrid schedule we did was psychological torture for teachers, students, parents, staff, literally everyone but the politicians and admins who stayed in their offices and quit visiting schools. I wonder why they quit visiting?

As a Brown alum and father of a trans daughter, I find this deeply disturbing. But not surprising. After all, most universities care far more about the Benjamins than the learning. Sadly.

Missouri is home of the Assemblies of God and other far right Christian denominations that can't see past their absurd mythology. They only want to hurt others who aren't like them. And the MoLeg is filled with these nutters. I can't wait to get out of this red state hell hole. 🤮
