Well it‘s just unfair to compare Quarkus Native with Spring Boot on the JVM.
Interesting I had the complete opposite experience - the release plugin always felt awkward and the day I learned about $revision things started to feel so much better/easier. The good thing is maven can make us both happy and get our job done 😀

Interesting, could not live without it anymore in multi-module projects as this makes our ci-setup and release process so much easier

Nice a must have for my projects is to use ${revision} and the flatten-plugin

This reminded me on github.com/quarkusio/qu... which unfortunately looks like it stalled. If quarkus/narayana could provide this it would a real gamechanger.
