This morning I took a walk in Cannes before boarding my train back home. The view during the ride was also quite the sight. Thank you to everyone I met at @Evo_France, and thank you to all of the Rivals Of Aether 2 players who showed up in large numbers during our BYOC tourneys!!

Today I went to his funeral alone. I only feel pain as I write these words tonight. Léon was very special to me and my family, he was kind and caring. After becoming fully remote in 2022 I was able to spend more time with him, now I wish I did this much sooner. Life feels unfair.

Léon has a few online fans so I have to share the news.
In christmas 2023 he was diagnosed with advanced CKD. With treatment and love, he was living happily despite the disease for an entire year. But a few days before christmas 2024, suddenly he couldn't anymore. He is gone.

2 weeks ago we brought Léon to the vet for a regular check and his results were very bad. The vet thinks his disease is now in the terminal stage. I am coping with this news. But currently he is still living happily.
