i.e. about the USA strategic interest in the middle east, irrespective of local poulations and politics. Any equivalent by a different world power such as China, well that would bring outrage from the dominant imperialists.

A different perspective would be: who should pay to retain vast swathes of medical image data that is unlikely to ever be accessed or used in anger (except by ?? AI trainers ??). You can't port that quantity of data to a different data store, so why not delete and spend savings on malaria research?

There is some legitimate concerns about the Physician Associate role if this opinion is even mildly representative. I don't wish to be any part of a smear campaign, but this sort of attitude is concerning for sure.
