I realise this makes me sound like an old man shouting at the clouds but why would you do this? Why not repaint the whole thing?

Of all the words, the US use of the word ‘yard’ causes me the greatest cultural dissonance.

I hear yard, I visualise this sort of thing…

BBC News now requires viewers to register / be signed in to watch streams.

Requiring this for entertainment is one thing, entirely another for the national broadcaster to require this for news.

Why should it be ok to track my views?

If you're interested in how to think about digital transformation, 'The Brompton - Engineering for Change.' is one of the best books I've read on the subject. This might seem odd, given that software is hardly mentioned in the book, but I suspect that's why.

Anyway it appears that once upon a time this particular Ait was known as ‘The Ravens Arse’. At least that’s what the cartographer labelled it on this map.

Hang on… are the things we call sausage rolls in the UK known as pigs in blanket in the US? If so is a sausage wrapped in bacon a thing in the US?

When you wake up, check your blood glucose and correct a high and rapidly rising BG only to find it was a sensor error and your BG is crashing 😬 #t1d
