we will not get Trump out of public life through elections. He will deny loss and unleash his private militia to disrupt transition. The only way to be rid of his is impeachment and removal. Clear and unmistakable rejection.

It is so much easier to take over one of the two parties then start a new third party. Look at the tea party and the GOP. Party structures are weak, but election laws that favor the two party system are strong.

I really object to this level of style/vibe/authenticity criticism of potential candidates before the primaries even start. It turns into a pundit primary and it is necessarily superficial. Voters will weed out the candidates who don't have the skills soon enough.
