The UK Government has released its response to the House of Lords’ Media Literacy report. The Lords warned that poor media literacy threatens democracy itself. The government agrees, but its plan focuses on coordination more than transformation.

www.prweek.co.uk/article/1931... As someone who has taught on pure play PR and broader comms degrees I don't think this is a bad thing - modern PR is so varied, having graduates with a broad understanding of media and comms, not just our chosen discipline is vital
