I agree, I believe a big reason there's a problem in the first place is because people are increasingly relying on social media as their primary form of social interaction

What are everyone else's thoughts on this? How can we use the technology that has contributed to making people so lonely, to reverse these effects? Or is there no way?

Several years ago, there was a similar stigma on dating apps, and meeting someone online. However, this is completely gone with most relationships now starting through dating apps.

If we can remove the stigma in the same way for apps to make friends, I truly believe we can help so many people

Mobile apps do exist designed for people to be able to make friends, such as Yubo or Bumble friends. The issue is the stigma with such apps, which is therefore why I believe this is a marketing issue rather than a technical one
