By what authority does Trump have the power to have people he deported detained offshore? Once they are removed from our shores, don’t we lose jurisdiction over them?

Trump doesn’t understand that in a constitutional republic the people’s will is always restrained by the law. If 99% of the people want to establish a particular religion , they can’t, and it is unelected judges who stop it. That’s the American way.

Appeasement didn’t work in 1940 and peace at any price won’t work in 2025. It’s not whether you want peace; it’s what are the terms? Churchill said Britain’s preWWII leaders had a genuine love of peace and the pathetic belief that love could be its sole foundation. Too bad Trump never read history.

I just watched America shrivel before my eyes into a meaningless shadow of its former greatness and relevancy. We are no longer a world leader; we are a joke led by a clown.

Plan your week. When will you call your elected officials? Protest? Get off of Twitter or FB? Have that chat with your hair person? Resistance needs to be at least our part time job

Well, here I am, again, this time in rural, red DeMotte, IN. We had at least as many positive as negative reactions, a man brought us donuts, and several people stopped to talk. Definitely going to keep this up in the heartland. One guy did say “Trump is my King!” so wow. Keep fighting! Have hope!
