Didn't know about the nuclear issue. Feels like something UK and France should look at.

I guess this is what the end feels like. You're right, it's an unbelievable tragedy. But... Whenever I've filmed at NASA I've always wished Europe had an equivalent offering. Time for Europe and ESA to step up.

I'm fact checking a documentary script right now - often wonder if we could somehow (with blockchain technology?) digitally watermark / stamp facts from trusted sources - like the economist, FT, BBC - to show that they have been formally checked. Create a market for truth.

fair point - my daughter gets infuriated by the lack of snow here. She's only ever built two snowmen at home and she's 8!

Rylance summoning the giants with is bin lid in Jerusalem was one of the most awesome things I have ever seen. I love Sean Bean but Rylance is pretty much unbeatable.

A good start would be to reduce the ridiculous filming fees. It's crazy that it's prohibitively expensive to show the museum's treasures on television.

Really interesting interview - Adam Flemming's point about human nature is a good one, these platforms will always end up as mirrors to our collective nature - good and bad. That's why they need to be curated responsibly.

Your dad's photo is special. Reminds me of Callanish, a place where the power of the moon is made obvious too.

I remember that day - was very worried about your kneecaps!

I have an Oxford chemistry degree for precisely this reason - I grew up in South Yorkshire in the 1980s when the steel works were still open, my Dad had a Chemistry PhD and worked in the metals industry. The economics of all that loomed large in my world without me realising it.
