Without a striker to score next season we will struggle to finish top half. Would say that would have more of an effect on the dressing room. Howe has been very careful to keep the door open.

We need two strikers if he leaves and we play Villa away in two weeks tomorrow. Why would we sabotage our season and sell him now? Keep him for another 12 months and agree he can leave then.

120m isn’t silly money for a proven premier league striker coming in to his prime years. As ridiculous as it sounds 120m is a silly offer to make for a player of his calibre.
