Sadly I’ve never come across one 🥲 It was generally trending in the yaoi space, so I don’t think it properly caught on in the mdzs fandom. Gotta write one someday 😔

They all ran & it was quite the harrowing months, their time in the woods. But eventually, they found a land they would make their home. Wwx, lwj, & the wens worked to make a new village, a new home for them. Away from the cultivation world.

After setting up their supposed death, lwj takes wwx hand & runs. They avoid the fight & run for the woods. In these woods, they come across wn, wq, & their village. Lwj & wwx knew that they were doomed too, & thus set their village ablaze to faked their deaths too.

Lwj no longer had a place in the cultivation world. And wwx no longer had a place in the cultivation world either, not with his ghost cultivation. So he & wwx will disappear, they will fake their deaths & runway. All lwj has to do is convince wwx, & try hard he must.

Without a golden core, he can’t protect wwx like how he expected he would when he asked him to comeback to gusu with him, but at least wwx would be safe from the scrutinizing eyes of the cultivation world. Lwj had thought this through during his time in captivity.

Wwx panics & he starts babbling about how they can fix this, but lwj stops him. Lwj is oddly serene which confuses wwx. Lwj then talks about wanting a simple life, away from the cultivation world, just like how his mom wanted. He asks wwx to join him.

Wwx gives lwj his sword but lwj does not take it & asks wwx to use it instead since he lost his core. Wwx is in shock. The great hanguang-jun lost his core? He couldn’t it accept it, even more so than how he lost his own.
