I agree but we should also include the concept of User Pays into the mix for defence funding - the more wealth you have to protect, the more you pay on a proportional basis. This is clearly fair. And as it must rise now is the time to remove it from general revenue and put it in as a levy.

This just makes me Angry!~!~ What happened to the corruption commission ?
It was the NT Government who gave the Port of Darwin Lease to the Chinese and now this. Now give away our nations wealth and enrich themselves at the nations expense . How can states do this ?
