To me, this seems like Carville frantically trying to stave off irrelevance by pretending to move in the correct direction, and I'm very disappointed in anyone who has paid even the slightest bit of attention to how he operates that isn't able to recognize that.

Its really hard to "help people out, be in a good mood, dress up" when you're all crammed together like cargo.
People used to dress up because air travel was a luxury. The planes also used to crash a lot. He seems to want to bring that back too.
