Forgive me if I don't find it funny that there are some Liberals and Leftists on BlueSky who suddenly believe that Hasan Piker is an animal abuser because of an unfounded claim that he used a shock collar on his dog w/out any evidence.

Two innocent children are dead and the far right are racing to use it as pretext to further eradicate trans people. This mass shooting had nothing to do with the shooter being trans and everything to do with them being radicalized online by a nihilistic murder cult that worships mass shooters.

I don't feel like protesting at this present moment in time with the Trump administration is going to be enough to resist fascism atp. With Trump basically telling SCOTUS to GTFO with their court order, we've entered a worst case scenario territory.

My honest reaction to Kathleen Kennedy leaving Lucasfilm as someone who used to love Star Wars:

As someone who used to listen to Kanye West back when he wasn't a Nazi apologist, buddy-buddy with Elon Musk, and glazing Trump like no tomorrow while having unhinged crashouts on social media, seeing where he is today is nothing short of a tragedy.

Oh hell fucking nah. You're one of those Liberals who will post bullshit like this and won't even bother to stand with the people you're choosing to attack over their grievances (e.g., ethnic cleansing and genocide). You would've been silent if anything close to this happened under Harris.

The absolute glee some are displaying in blaming Palestinians, and people who protested on their behalf, for their own ethnic cleansing is a strategic error (obvs you target the decision maker), a political error (obvs you need those votes), and a moral error (obvs fix your hearts or die).

According to some people on here and Twitter, the bigger priority right now is to mock and blame voters who abstained from voting for Harris because they demanded an arms embargo and to see Netanyahu be held accountable for his crimes towards the Palestinians.

Anyone who is only posting about the soon-to-be ethnic cleansing of the Gaza Strip because Trump's in power are not being genuine right now. These are the same people who were upset with pro-Palestine supporters when they were demanding a ceasefire, sanctions and arms embargo on Israel.

Reminder that the Democratic Party are not your saviors.

Every once and a while, I will see a smug tweet about how the Left is somehow responsible for Trump being in power despite Dems running a shitty campaign last year. This comes from two camps: never-Trump conservatives and Liberal simping for Biden & Harris during the 2024 election.

IF Trump gets into office and somehow 'unbans' TikTok, I hope everyone uses their brain cells and refuse to glaze him without shame because he's the one who proposed the TikTok ban in the 1st place. Biden is dumb for signing off on the ban, but let's not act like Trump is innocent.

Only in America can politicians unite in the name of 'national security' to ban an app that has benefitted so many Americans in job security, amongst other things while refusing to do anything about gun safety and control. Unserious nation, indeed.
