The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II (2025)
7/10 Such great characters wading through nothingness until the last few hours of this game. I definitely don’t hate it like I see a lot of people saying but it’s pretty low on the trails list.

Detective Instinct: Farewell, My Beloved (2025)
8.5/10 I sincerely hope this team can make another one of these with a bit more meat on the bone but what’s here is not just a love letter to old Famicom/DS adventure titles it’s a true execution with full understanding of what makes those good

8/10 Good and bad here, a lot of new things I like but they are also coupled with long cutscenes with new characters who are like “woe is me how will I save the princess?” That’s my job go home. Heavily enjoy it being written as a sequel.

40 minutes with Stray Children is an emotional feeling hard to describe that pretty much couldn’t be reciprocated by another game for me. I felt it deep within my chest. Gotta be similar to people who live and breathe Untertale felt when Deltarune came out. Games can be truly moving.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A (2025)
8/10 I enjoyed it. A lot of funny npc dialogue and good characters saves it from a really nothing story though I’m not playing Pokemon for the plot. Some new megas are cool others just aren’t. Shouldn’t be anywhere near $70 for what’s here.

7/10 It’s hard to describe my feelings here. It’s certainly not a bad game but it sure is just the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima. There’s some things that make it a better experience, a better story, and that’s about it. Where the hell is the sun for 90% of my playthrough also.

Desperately need the clearly basic enemy in Silent Hill f with a ballsack for a tongue to suddenly become the Pyramid Head of this game so future bad games or movies bring him back and we all go “Fuck it’s Ballsack Man!”

Hundred Line Last Defense Academy (2025)
9.5/10 I’m heading into taking a break from the game just so I can play more games the rest of the year. I think I’ve got enough endings under the belt to fully know how I feel, and damn this game is fucking good. Eventually I’ll go for 100%

Mario Kart World (2025)
8.5/10 Wanted to sit with this awhile before giving a score, but this is just a really fun game. I like exploring the open world far more than many so I can’t say I’m sad there’s not a thing to do every 2 feet and more I can drive the countryside and enjoy the vistas.

Mario Kart World (2025)
8.5/10 Wanted to sit with this awhile before giving a score, but this is just a really fun game. I like exploring the open world far more than many so I can’t say I’m sad there’s not a thing to do every 2 feet and more I can drive the countryside and enjoy the vistas.

Cyberpunk 2077/Phantom Liberty (2020) 8.5/10 definitely a vibes based game just driving around Night City and taking in the sites feels like you’re there. Some fantastic side missions and nooks and crannies to find made this really enjoyable. I think the main character sucks and so does Panam.

Cyberpunk 2077/Phantom Liberty (2020) 8.5/10 definitely a vibes based game just driving around Night City and taking in the sites feels like you’re there. Some fantastic side missions and nooks and crannies to find made this really enjoyable. I think the main character sucks and so does Panam.
