I’m not sure if it’s because I’m so used to inflation now or if it’s because I’m from a relatively expensive part of the US (California), but I did not find the Nordic countries to be very expensive. I’ve only been to Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland though. I imagine Iceland is more expensive.

I slipped on ice on my first day visiting Oslo! Nothing serious but I did not enjoy the multiple bloody scrapes and being covered in mud the remainder of the day. I made sure to be a lot more careful after that.

Well, I planned ahead and went on a two week vacation to Norway and Sweden. I have to return this Sunday though. Hope the country doesn’t fall apart before then. ☹️

I was in Oslo yesterday (wandering around the palace park focused on not slipping on any ice)! I’ll actually be there a few more times this week but only briefly (headed to Bergen and Svalbard).

Funny thing is I’m out of the country at the moment (in Norway) but I’m just on vacation so I have to return in two weeks. Did I schedule this vacation so I’d be out of the country during the inauguration? Perhaps.

Yes, you can also help by waving your hand back and forth in front of the door counter sensor…. I used to do that when I was little to mess up their statistics.
