IMO the tag makes no sense and let him walk because that’s what the plan always has been and tagging creates a potential self imposed doomsday situation.

If he signs the franchise tag, which fans are just expecting he wouldn’t but idk why he wouldn’t due to the guaranteed money and leverage it would give him, I don’t see teams lining up to trade for him when negotiations start at 85 mil over the first 2 years fully guaranteed.

In your opinion, is it logical to tag and trade him?
I do not believe that is a logical route because if you tag him, it would almost guarantee that his agent starts at 41 mil/yr 1, 45 mil/yr 2, so that’s 86 mil guaranteed over 2 years (2 tagged years). So I agree, stick to plan and let him walk

What do you expect out of this tournament? I understand it most likely won’t be playoff intensity till maybe the elimination/final games but I’m hoping it will be more than all star game which I think it will be.
Anthony talks about it all the time that they are extremely competitive so I’m hopeful

I still think he was the direct replacement for Hitman and with him staying he simply didn’t have a spot.
I wasn’t against getting rid of him cause we simply didn’t need a safety but I still think he had a lot more upside than fans give him credit for. His injury really set him back

You get him scoring 20-28 and I think he is capable as his confidence grows.

And that’s the frustration IMO because fans just want to see things called for their guys.
So IMO Mahomes doesn’t get “special treatment”, he just constantly has someone watching him and penalties are not MISSED. Where other guys calls are missed and. There is a huge difference in the argument.

What the chiefs are doing is insane and is different from the Tyreek years which is crazy after trading away your star WR.

That’s why Vikes are likely out lol our defense is actually pretty young going into next year, the older guys are FA’s.
They have a lot to do before FA opens, who gets extended and what not but Garrett would still be lethal lol

They obviously aren’t happy either way but what is the resolution?
