Some might see this and/or many of the federal attorney resignations as solely a positive. But authoritarian regimes, incl fascist ones, are enabled when government institutions lose the ability to be responsive to the citizenry. So they gut/eliminate departments, see mass resignations, & celebrate.

I'm not in any of these networks, online or otherwise. I just show up to observe or protest when I get a chance outside of working and caregiving, living in Ward 10 of Mpls. Anyways, hopefully people aren't getting too bogged down in internal, activist rules and we can keep our eyes on the prize.

His official title is not "Border Czar" nor does he have the legal authority to finalise a deal with anyone in Minnesota government. He can bring a deal to the president, or to the Senate-confirmed Director of The Dept of Homeland Security, but he is an advisor, and "Czar" is not his official title.

China has a relatively recent history with imperial Japan - and now the United States - invading their territory (Japan) and having a giant military buildup right off their coast (The United States). it's not like Chinese aircraft carriers & bases are in Cuba & the Bahamas, which is the equivalent.
