I mean isn’t the Steam deck and upcoming Steam Machine by valve technically running Linux? Those do seem like exactly that.

I mean tbf that is the OP sub what else are they supposed to talk about? Though I do agree that anime fans just gamers take this stuff way to seriously

Ist denke auch besser so langfristig. Dann merken Entwickler das Leute da keinen Bock drauf haben. Und wenn das Spiel sonst gut ist und die das fixen wird es dem Spiel und entwickelt bestimmt auch wieder gut gehen.

What did she do to deserve this? :(

Also depending on where it is produced the US Tarifs might mess up a lot of stuff as well.

Didn’t they already say they will price it like a PC and not like a console? We can probably expect more like 400-700€. It does seem to be more powerful than a Steamdeck but also bigger and have no display. I would still guess that it is more expensive tho.

I love that the graph doesn’t even have a Y-Axis. I assume it vaguely refers to research or publications. Though considering publications on LLMs research might be a stretch with all the garbage people pump out. Tens of thousands of articles which are all garbage.

Not sure if it is different on Linux but on windows VLC alone can not just play blu-rays. I always have to use MakeMKV to convert them while playing.

I hate so much how I can not natively watch blu-rays on my windows pc. Always gotta jump through multiple weird hoops to get it working.

What a fantastic coat. Also love the aspect of actually getting some ethical clothing. Though I gotta ask is this the price you have to pay for this kind of coat which was actually done with fair labour? Or is it also an expensive cost on top of that?

Imo Risk of Rain is quite different from the other two. Except if you get really op in the endgame. Only Megabonk is heavily inspired with the interactables in the maps and how you go from map to map.

Love how the beginning of the movie paints the teacher who thinks they should improve Earth instead of just fucking off to space like she is being irrational or stupid. When the whole finding a new home in space is such a stupid tech bro fantasy.

The thing I love most about this game is it’s physicality and how tangible everything is. Just interacting with the environment is fun because you actually perform physical actions like pressing button on a machine etc.

Smiling friends also falls into this but I think it actually is more deliberate in how it is ugly and actually plays with its stile in interesting ways. Also it generally fits to the story of the show which is usually very absurd.

I think one issue with time pressure is that it feels so forced because it is an artificial mechanical constraint which is very obnoxious especially if you have a clock in your face. Maybe other more indirect forms of pressure would work better e.g. making waiting dangerous in some way.

In Germany they are still everywhere. Wish they would at least use pasta but I do feel like they have improved a little.

It is a long game but I really would not call it grindy. Doing some bosses can be pretty quick and gives a lot of XP. If you know what you are doing you can rush through the game very quickly.

Chants of Sennaar is great. One of those games which make you appreciate unique ideas like that. Though it does fall of a bit at the end.

I mean the point of types is to be restrictive. You also have to consider that often you work with many people on a project and they need to figure out what each others intentions were with some code. So types help with that by at least stopping them from doing something completely nonsensical.

It looks like one of those „Mario in Unreal Engine“ videos where they just put a Mario model in a realistic 3D scene.
