Doing weird product things in weird places. Semi-reformed startup founder. Professional chaos creator and sometimes tamer.

This is mainly a Blahaj and Pusheen stan account.

In terms of delivering economic growth - I’m sure funeral directors are excited about the increase in speed limits.

As of right now there are 1300 properties available to rent in Wellington on TradeMe.

This is the highest number I can find in the last 6 years and almost double the average number in 2018 (datawrapper.dwcdn.net/sX16i/120/).

If this doesn’t make rents drop, I don’t actually know what will.

I cannot emphasise enough how important it is to just laugh at people on the far right.

They want to fight with you (physically and verbally) & doing so fits into their world view.

Calling them ridiculous/weird, laughing & moving on will psychologically break people who have gone around the bend.

While i get the sentiment and frustration, not caring about evidence isn’t really ideal

A 5% drop for a first term govt this early is pretty unprecedented…

There’s gonna be a lot of people in Wellington not immediately affected by public servant redundancies that are gonna start regretting their voting choices over the next few months…

People like: cafe/bar/restaurant/store owners, home owners, builders, consultants etc etc.

This feels ominous… 🫧

But labour left a massive mess right? Leaving us with *checks notes* the fourth highest employment rate in the OECD.

It takes some pretty wild “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” logic to believe that the Houthis are a movement worth supporting.

This is literally their flag and slogan.

Excited for Winston’s new focus on fixing education 🙄

"Refocus the curriculum on academic achievement and not ideology, including the removal and replacement of the gender, sexuality, and relationship-based education guidelines,”

Winston’s back 😂. Celebrating and commiserating at the same time 🥂.
