The main issue I see people run into isn't the activity being identified but putting yourself out there and forming a group for an activity.

Or get creative! Friends in DC have been having out with a local blacksmithing group!
It also doesn't need to be gender normative or gender exclusive! Men can enjoy baking, knitting, etc in groups too
