Great grandpa Lum left Zhongshan in 1896. About all I carry of that is the name, limited facial hair - and my chopstick chops. The waiters at my usual restaurants bring them to me automatically. I feel seen!

Dinner Saturday was at an Indian restaurant where we were the only non-Desi (South Asians) in the place along with a couple dozen Desis. Had a non-vegetarian thali.
