Yesterday I designed pads covering the portion of backpack’s straps that contact one’s shoulders.
I couldn’t escape the image of my dad at a sewing machine the night before my first ‘scouts trip’, 55 years ago, making similar, cushy pads for my use.
OF COURSE I mirrored his design.
