On a recent trip to Michigan’s UP, I spotted a nesting pair of peregrine falcons circling overhead. Lucky us, one landed long enough for me to snap a few photos.

Haven’t posted photos in a while, feels like maybe I should add a little more creative work to the timeline.

I saw a mostly uncensored clip of Charlie Kirk being shot and it was deeply disturbing. All I could think about afterwards was the Uvalde parent who had to identified their kid by a pair of shoes because their child’s body was so badly mutilated.

Don’t worry, she’s texting me for more money.

The Democrats have no fucking clue what they’re doing, do they? The audacity they have… texting me not but 2 hours after the bill passed, asking for MORE MONEY, from a candidate who has said squat since losing… What are you going to do with more money? Continue to act incompetent?! Jesus Christ.

It’s #BlueSkyArtShow Saturday! The theme this week is “arch”. Sometimes, you find something, and all you have is your phone. This church in #Oaxaca was stunning in the evening light last year. The sun and stain glass created brilliant colors on the walls and ceiling.

There’s a term for this actually! This is the Ratchet Effect, which is defined by how a mechanical ratchet behaves. We continue to shift right with broken shit, and then never make leftward progress, because of the mess that is to be cleaned up.

A good read on the topic, btw.

Although we’ve lived thru most of it, so…

Today's #BlueSkyArtShow theme is #Windows

I’m probably interpreting this differently, but here are some iPhone shots from a small passenger plane over #Denali on a remarkably clear day.

It’s trivial, but the dancers having beards… I guess they’re chill with drag as long as it lets them colonize Gaza and sell condos?

Had to add another for the #BlueSkyArtShow
The theme today is #Abandoned. I found this on a “trail” in the National Forest out in California. The area was devastated by wild fire a few year prior and this was what was left of a camp site.

It's Saturday and that means it’s the #BlueSkyArtShow
The theme today is #Abandoned. This is from an abandoned house in rural NYC.

Presumably, this meme is a hate symbol now? Right? If Pepe Frog is now a hate symbol, surely this is fast approaching.

Side note, the Shiba in this image passed last year… which seems rather emblematic.

This Sean sucks. I want the better Shawn.

Today’s theme is #Monochrome and I’m so excited because this is my favorite photography style! These are some of my best from my time in #Japan a year ago. #Fuji #Fujifilm #BlackandWhite
