The watchdog knows it dropped the ball over Pickston and Sullivan’s ownership and funding of the home & has been uncooperative ever since we began investigating this case - to the extent it last month fought our appeal to see court documents from the tribunal.

It’s very odd that the hatred among Sun hacks is towards Kier Starmer for prosecuting evidence he was handed by News UK, rather than towards the company and its CEO for handing over the evidence, in a controlled way that kept its senior execs legally safe. Stockholm Syndrome.

People endlessly debate which are football’s greatest success stories. This was where #AFCB was this time in 2008 - second bottom of League 2. The other table is today - 6th I. The Premier League, very much an established top-flight club. Success stories don’t come much greater.

This is a slightly strange thing to say consider he was hardly Cristiano Ronaldo previously but since the last time I watched him, Mr Tumble has let himself go.
