Just finishing Christopher Ruochio's Howling Dark, book 2 of Sun Eater. I'll be taking a break from the series, but my word it is incredible!

One thing that really depresses me about apps like @gozwift.bsky.social is there unwillingness to record workouts below a certain threshold, for instance, below 2km. Yes, I understand it's to push people more. But for disabled people like me whose impairments stop them reaching it it's demoralising!

Since my phone upgrade I have was locked out of my Listening Books membership. Thanks to the hard work of their team, I've now effectively got it back. if you are a reader, but you have an impairment that hinders you reading, I thoroughly recommend these guys.

One of the ironically frustrating things the past few months has been the fact that my phone could not fit in the pockets of the adaptive trousers that have otherwise been a life saver. However, I've just discovered that since upgrading my phone last week, this is no longer the case!

My Christmas shopping is complete - and is the Santa/Reese Sack

Oh thank goodness there is a new audio version of His Dark Materials slowly being released! I tried the ones 'read' by Pullman himself. While I liked his reading, the whole audiobook-radio play hybrid, work other actors reading the dialogue instead of Pullman just pulled me out of the immersion.
