Wow, surprise, surprise, surprise! Remember, in DJT’s first term he promised a health plan in “about two weeks” and what happened ? NOTHING. Two weeks ago, the same thing happened. For “Daddy No Plan”, a promise made is a promise broken.
Donald Trump is postponing the introduction of his healthcare plan. Turns out, Trump doesn’t even have concepts of a plan.

And, the quid pro quo is not even subtle.

Dems have caved and put Americans through this shutdown hell and got nothing to save health care cost from skyrocketing and poor lower income folks from getting screwed. Pogo was right: “we have met the enemy and it is us”. Shame on us for having gutless leadership and giving Trump a free pass.
The Senate appeared to be moving toward securing enough support for a bipartisan deal to end the longest government shutdown in history.

The proposal excludes added ACA subsidy funding and still needs House approval and President Trump’s support.
Senate moves toward deal to end shutdown, but hurdles remain
The proposal under discussion doesn’t include more funding for ACA subsidies. If a bill passes the Senate, it needs the House to approve and President Donald Trump on board.

Not buying g that. Sadly, Americans suffer from a collective amnesia-proof being they reelected Trump in 2024.
Hassan: With the government reopening shortly, Republicans now finally have to come to the table. Or make no mistake, Americans will remember who stood in the way.

The “Epstein Ballroom” travesty, a perfect example the gaudy excesses of Trump’s “ Bread and Circuses” mentality.
"Trump is literally bulldozing the East Wing of the White House to construct what many are calling the “Epstein Ballroom”—a gaudy gold monstrosity that epitomizes his corruption and excess."
