Did you ever get one of those used textbooks that had REALLY helpful and important notes written in it by the previous owner? Maybe even some jokes and doodles as well? My post-transition life feels like one of those textbooks.

A local indie theater did a showing of After Hours, and it’s now by far my favorite Scorsese film. Unfortunately I almost never meet folks who have seen it.

It’s such a beautiful movie, but I’ll always prefer Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein (1994) - The Pinball Machine.

And no, I have not seen the movie it’s based on, I just think if Mary Shelley knew what pinball was, she’d agree it’s the proper medium for the story…

I’ma gonna go ahead and save this to the ol’ “design inspiration” folder

I bounce off most Shonen anime/manga, but Chainsawman was what successfully got me into manga after 15+ years of reading American comics. I’d say it’s absolutely worth giving a chance. The anime isn’t much of a time investment at the moment, or just give the first few chapters a read.
