Biden upheld a standard of fairness, setting aside his parental relationship with his son. Norms and principles need to be contextualized. Those claiming that the pardon shows Biden's "corruption" would have seen him as corrupt no matter what he did. I don't care about his detractors' toxic opinions

Jesus, man, give it a rest already! Biden had very good reasons to issue this pardon. Stop worrying about how this "validates" Trump and start trying to help people understand the unique threat Trump represents, without this tiresome whataboutism.

It shows you a significant part of the double standard that we are up against.
