I like Stefanski and it needs to be said....I hope my fellow Browns fans took a good look at Miami Sunday to see the difference between how Kevin's team is run and how a real cluster**** of a team is run.

Addressing the consistently inconsistent o-line & a little more help in the receiver dept. would make Stefanski look like genius (again).

Caught the most vibrant rainbow I've seen in decades on Wednesday. Sadly, no pictures.

Pray 4 M fans, who'll have a harder time complaining abt DiPoto.

Dodgers pick now to be cautious? While AJ's phone is melting?

Biggest losers: Guardians, because...Clase.

Cash puts me in mind to a meth head throwing dice in the alley.

Only heard Take No Prisoners once, 20 years after the fact but it stands out as the most bizarre live album in my memory. Love that he gives a nod to Bruce & mentions Christgau, who I'm a big fan of amid his attack on critics.

For 15 yr old me in 74 R&R Animal was irresistible. Couldn't appreciate VU until many years later. Street Hassle side 1 is remarkable. Somewhere I have a soundboard cassette recording of a May '80 show he did at the Cleveland Agora where he closed with Street Hassle. That tape beat everything til NY

The show is always very good but weaving Lou, Alison, the '89 Yankees & the big nasty bill together was game 7 walk off shit.
Your capsulation of Lou's career was on point. I was never a huge fan but a few LP were formative. For me NY is far & away the best, & 1 of the 5 best by anyone in the 80s.

the most bizarre sentencing.

Personally I find Christianity to be 1 big, often detrimental fairy tale, but the book has some good stuff in it. And the verse he touted on his cap seems beautifully inclusive. So there's that.

and watching the NFL.

Maybe that's more a media thing than a baseball thing.

The vast majority of old school baseball people, racist or not have been shown the door over the last 10 years unless they were open to incorporating analytics. Very rare in 2025 is the old school racist with a prominent role in a MLB org.

True when I started in pro ball in 89. Such things persisted for years but amid ever increasing numbers of Hispanics, Blacks & younger, more evolved white people being employed as coaches & in front offices baseball has moved beyond the phrases I'm seeing in this thread. Old white media, maybe not.

Was it racist when I used to hear Mendy say it about a player?Ron Washington? Don Baylor?

This kind of nonsense does a disservice to anyone fighting actual racism.
