1. Cutting the ribbon to inaugurate Judy Woods as a Nature Reserve! 🌳

2. Working with Police and residents to tackle ASB in Low Moor 👮

3. Securing brand new litter bins in new spots across the ward! 🗑️

This afternoon we joined our local policing team West Yorkshire Police - Bradford South for their PACT (Police and Community Together) session at Sedbergh Sports and Leisure Centre.

Cowboy operators think it's ok to dump vast amounts of waste in public and have residents foot the bill to clear it.

That could have paid for improvements to our parks, playgrounds or a hundred other things.

It's grotty, selfish and a crime. We can and will prosecute.

This morning, I joined residents to remember the Bradford Pals battalions on the anniversary of the first day of the Battle of the Somme.

And, this afternoon, I reflected at the Bradford Pals memorial permanently placed outside the Council Chamber in City Hall.

I've been out and about this morning picking up issues in Wyke - particularly some of our most frequently used footpaths starting to overgrow with all the good weather recently.

Then I popped in to Wyke Library to catch up on some emails and say hi to the team!

In the Council chamber this evening for the last meeting of the municipal year.

We'll be here until around 10pm with a packed agenda, debating everything from energy storage, school attendance, online safety, and encouring lively democratic debate while keeping everyone safe.
