Privacy lawyer, Dad, Michigan football, gardener, smoker of meats, feeder of stray cats, birds, ducks, squirrels ... really anyone or thing that wanders into the backyard.
This guy has absolutely aced his audition to be Trump's next Fed pick.

As someone who grew up in a time and place where "polack jokes" were standard fare, it is deeply funny to me that of the two Donalds, we got the stupid one.

Savage takedown of Harmeet Dhillon.

I heard "turn the volume up" as a double entendre. Not just "listen closely, old man" but also "be louder when you lie about how great you are."

Agreed, but "recent" doing some heavy lifting here. I'm 56, don't have an encyclopedic memory but I don't recall another legislative infusion of cash into US manufacturing in my lifetime.

The Framers saw Donald Trump coming a mile away. The problem is they didn't plan for Mitch McConnell and Mike Johnson.

Any chance his staffers are showing him episodes of Deadwood and telling him it's Portland?

This is going to end with the Roberts Court holding that "Snowflake Crank" is a protected class, isn't it?

^$7.6B increase over March - but still 131 months to reach $1T ...

A whopping $7.6M increase over March. At this rate, the US will reach $1T additional revenue sometime in 2036. Totally worth destroying the economy, amirite?

Shows how important Pence, Mattis, Tillerson etc were to foreign policy in Trump 1.0. When he acted like the goon he is, they could reassure their counterpart that we're still a civil society observing diplomatic norms. Now every single one of them is a goon (or cos-playing as one, Hi Marco!)

The truly amazing thing is that Z's first words in the meeting were literally "thank you."

Normally we'd see 2028 GOP primary candidates making their exploratory moves by, what, mid-2026? Does anyone honestly think Nicki or Marco or Ted or JD is going to do that, or are they going to dutifully support the notion that Trump should get a third term? My money is on the latter.
