I explained it in my other post : this command line never return the code name device "mustang" but always just the S/N.
Idk why but it’s cannot work in any try.
I would try to help you and the community to resolve this issue and understand why it return S/N and not the code name device… 🧐

I’ve used the main page’s link to the web installer and I can see today it’s not the same URL in your post. My bad.
But for the zip release the security part (running a "fastboot devices" command to identify the device and search the "mustang" expression) never may work because

I use Debian/"Debian based…" since two decade and I’ve many notions to code or modify any code but I’m not dev. and this day haven’t any time to use another solution.
Finally it work great and it’s the only way to use this device. No google connexion are acceptable in my case.

But finally the install bash script blocked me all times.
My modifications just ad the "./" before every fastboot command and comment the two security check before flashing.
I’ve no quick options to flash this device with my Debian installation because the web installer say "not supported device"…🫶

1st one. My adb and fastboot files are not recognized by the bash script because idk how to do the "PATH" sequence. All my files are in the same folder. I’ll search to fix it.
2nd one. My device always return it SN to the "devices" command from both adb and fastboot and never "mustang". Idk why ??

J’ai trop l’habitude d’avoir du matos trop vieux et plus sous garantie. Donc bon. Mais tu as raison, si tu peux le faire, fais le ! Un retour est toujours mieux que la poubelle ou le four (pour tenter de refaire les micro soudures BGA derrière les puces mémoire).

Dommage de ne pas pouvoir le régler depuis la version mobile. Il me dit que je dois me connecter au web avec un pc pour faire la modif des réglages de modération. Ça ne passe pas avec l’iPhone. 😳😩😤
