There’s several drugs on the market or the works with indications for eosinophilic diseases by targeting IL-4, IL-5, IL-13, or a combo. One, Dupixent, was approved in 2022 by the FDA specifically for EoE!

At the moment, most others are still in trials for esophagitis but it seems there’s promise!

mAbs are too complex to synthesize. Instead, cells like CHO are genetically modified to produce the protein like they do any other protein they need to live

The cells are grown in bioreactors, the cells are made to secrete our protein, and we purity it
