Happy to have found out about you. Your movie on The Puritans (👍)showed up on internet archive - in my search results page for Calef’s More wonders book from 1700. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

Thank you for the insight! A fascinating story, and tragedy. It's no wonder that generations of people have looked to it.

Such a tragic day. I wonder sometimes about how hard it is to see at the time when something is wrong, like this. And then, sometimes I wonder what we're missing now, today, similarly. History's got many facets to learn from and should be valued more. Thank you for your knowledge that you share.

Nice! For me, some pictures, like yours, come along and it's as if I see myself - and the now, and also really see how the then, the ancient times, still survive with us, subtle, but eloquently.
aurgh... probably way too many words. Maybe I need more coffee.
Great pic, thanks.

Beautiful view and love the juxtaposed bridge and standing stones!

Love the sentiment. I feel less alone reading it because I'm the same way, and people think I'm being sarcastic when I say it's a nice rain today, or that I love a nice gray wet day.

I loved all that CC stuff. Was raised in military family, mom’s family was in Mass, we would visit when in the states. Luckily I had a special aunt who lived in Sagamore. Visited her on my own occasionally for 50 years after age 15 or so.
Nauset is beautiful! I think their water is much warmer too

Your pens are beautiful. Best wishes...

It is long. And not generally packed with people. No rides, no boardwalk. Fast food is not convenient-but not too hard to get to either, just not close by. Sagamore beach is quiet in the winter (which I like) but slowly growing and becoming a place people commute to Boston from. Lucky them!
