Yeah, 100%. Offering something on Android that can puppeteer any app (or access its data) is a horrendous risk. It's why I like MCP as a way to granularly limit "tools" a model can access, like "search_signal_user" where it's allowed to look for a user by name, but can't just list everything.

I agree, though Claude Code and Gemini CLI request permission for specific access for the current session, which does help. My main concern is cloud-based models - at least with locally-hosted models the data is locked inside your own box, you just have to be wary of where the model came from.
