Clue: Who fuses the music with no illusions, producing the blueprints, clueless?

Shame on you

But the best was the 6th (7th?) inning when Kalas took a breather and it was McCarver and Ashburn going a bit off the rails

Kalas and Ashburn are the standard against which I judge baseball broadcasters. The soundtrack of my youth.

Sadly that was then, and this is now.

As if I needed another reason ...

It’s interesting people focus on that number. I bet more people know that number than the 2632. Likewise with Hank Aaron and 715 homers.

Anyone know the percentages on how deep extra innings games have gone under this system?
August 17, 2025 at 2:23 AM
I was surprised by that too. Don’t know how it’s usually handled on broadcasts

I was wowed by that catch at the ballpark and on the big screen replay there, but looking at it here - was that Mullins’s ball?

Roll and move is the standard term, though sometimes dice aren't used

Except that it runs through June 15! I wonder how many have been fooled by the title in the ads and walked away. I’m seeing it on Wednesday.

I saw it at the Charles in the past 2-3 years

Sadly, it goes with the territory having him on your roster. He misses a ton of games with injuries.

Looks like at least the second Sandoval set on Saturday has lots of the non-premium seats available. The shortage of direct view seats at the Korner is its only drawback.
April 11, 2025 at 10:17 AM
A legend is playing at Keystone Korner this weekend - Arturo Sandoval. Should be a treat to hear him at such an intimate room.

I know a number of transgender people, one of them my son, and they're all decent, kind, hard working people who contribute to society in many ways. We owe them the decency and respect that everyone deserves.

Mostly NOT in Baltimore (not that that makes it any better) according to this story: "... layoff 1,975 people in 44 countries — the largest job cut in university history. There will also be 247 eliminated in the United States"
