Johannesburg! Arnold Prinsloo is coming home as we launch ‘An Act of Murder’ next Thursday in Sandton*, and it would be grand to see you there. I'll be chatting to the excellent Michelle Constant, so both you and I will be in safe hands.

* OK technically Arnold lives in Melville but close enough...

A slightly surreal sight on Constantia main road: a truck transporting a very dead whale to its final resting place. Traffic backed up for miles behind it, providing a slightly grumpy unwilling funeral procession. That's its mouth at the front, drooping off the truck.
