Wow. Thinking of the States’ Medicaid policy staff. 25 of my 27 year DHS career was in Medicaid including developing policy to operate the program. Been out for 12 years but this grant situation can’t be good for clients. Tough enough to get health care providers to see XIX beneficiaries.

Was in the Walker Tower 11th floor TV lounge. Everyone there was shocked and had so many questions with no answers. Ancient pre-internet cable. MTV was about it. Shocked and sad is how I remember it.

I harken back to the early 1970s, when Seven Continents, a Six Flags style park, was planned for Stroud. All of us Lincoln Co. youths were going to work there.
