I bought these “cards” in Japan, on a whim, so gorgeous. But the decorations must be removed to open them, & they fold open like a piece of origami. Not a typical card that you can write in. And there’s no envelope w them. How am I supposed to use these? As a personal presentation, like flowers?

You probably know 20 Toms, but I will assume this is for me.

I’m actually in Takayama, Japan, and this is what I had for dinner. Hida beef rump. At a very small family run restaurant, literally the dad, mom, and son.

I love supporting family run restaurants, no matter where in the world I go. Memoire is in Takayama, Hida prefecture, Japan, and is a team of 3: Dad, Mom, and son. They serve a very small menu, but it is DELICIOUS!

Hardly an ounce of sympathy. Descends quickly into a political rant. As undignified as his Easter message, and utterly disrespectful.

My favourite Pope. Lived more closely to the values of Jesus than any other. Not perfect, but strove to make the Catholic Church more inclusive, more environmentally aware, more socially aware.

Using the Federal Funding threat to suppress protests and First Amendment protections. What an asshole. But, predictably, what a dick-tator.

Starting this book now, recently released.
I met Victoria briefly after a talk she gave in London 2 years ago. She was lovely.
A few months later she was killed by a Russian missile that hit a pizza parlour full of journalists , in Ukraine. She was working on this book at the time.

Very good set up. First 1/3, though featuring least action, was excellent. Middle 1/3, horror/monsters, we’ve seen it before, but entertaining. Last 1/3, predictable. Great chemistry between 2 leads. Stole from ideas from “Annihilation”. I enjoyed it, perfect rainy day film

Absolutely brilliant! Ireland shows that it cares. We also support a 2 state solution.
Unlike that eejit in the WH who wants only a land grab. He can feck right off.

Things got a bit ugly when the evangelists realised that Jesus was a commie socialist.

Our Halloween Beanies. Is this the spider you once had and lost?
I think there’s another Beanie spider—different type—somewhere in storage.

I was cleaning out the attic, came upon this book by F Lee Bailey, famed criminal defense lawyer back in his day. This book details 5 different cases, most famous was the Boston Strangler. So, can’t bear to toss it, I had it signed, & that’s me—so much hair!—in photo w him. 1976 or 1977?
